WHAT IT DOES

Set the interval.
The system does the rest.

You set time intervals with reduced prices in the dashboard. At payment time, if the customer is in the interval, the system applies the discount automatically. The price shown on the phone is the discounted one, the customer sees the savings in real time.

HOW TO CONFIGURE

5 steps, all from the dashboard.

  1. 1 Enter the dashboard and choose the machine (or all your machines).
  2. 2 Set the time interval: daily 2:00-4:00 PM, or just Mon-Thu 10 PM-6 AM, or weekend.
  3. 3 Set discount: percentage (-30%) or fixed price (7 RON instead of 10 RON).
  4. 4 Choose affected products: all, only coffee, only snacks, or a custom list.
  5. 5 Activate. The discount applies automatically during the interval, no machine intervention.

FAQ

What operators ask.

What does the customer see on screen during Happy Hour?
Old price crossed out (10 RON struck through), new discounted price (7 RON), green-mint "HAPPY HOUR -30%" badge and time remaining until the offer ends. The customer clearly knows they're getting a special price, so they come back on other days during the interval.
Can I run multiple Happy Hours in parallel?
Yes, as many as you want. Each machine can have different schedules, each its own interval. You configure them separately in the dashboard.
Do discounts apply to fleet customers with free cashless too?
No, they already consume for free through the corporate program. Happy Hour applies only to direct payments — Apple Pay, Google Pay or card.
Can I schedule Happy Hour for weekends, or just weekdays?
Any day, any interval. Granularity per day of the week, free time intervals. You can have different discounts for weekdays vs weekends.
Does it work on POS too, not just QR?
Yes, both. Set the discount in the dashboard and it applies automatically regardless of how the customer pays — QR on phone or directly on the POS terminal.
Can I see how much additional revenue each campaign generates?
Yes. In the dashboard you have for each campaign: extra volume (% above usual average), additional revenue generated, and comparisons with standard intervals. So you know exactly which discounts are worth continuing and which aren't.
Do I need to change hardware?
No. The standard XVend module supports Happy Hour, it's just a dashboard setting.
